New Restaurants Announced for Orlando International Airport

HMSHost to bring international and local food & beverage favorites to the new South Terminal

ORLANDO – Get ready Orlando travelers! Exciting new dining options will soon land at Orlando International Airport. Global restaurateur HMSHost with ACDBE partners Ankur Sakhuja of Pita Hut Enterprises, Inc and Deshaun Scott of Lago Dora, LLC received a 10-year contract to bring seven new dining locations to Orlando International Airport’s new South Terminal. The new locations are set to open in early 2021, aligning with the airport’s modernization project.

HMSHost dining updates for the South Terminal include noteworthy new options for travelers to enjoy.

Anchoring the new South Terminal immediately after the security checkpoint on Level 2 will be the critically acclaimed, modern day “roadside” burger stand, Shake Shack, known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers and chicken sandwiches (no added hormones or antibiotics – ever), griddled flat-top dogs, fresh-made frozen custard, crispy crinkle-cut fries, craft beer, wine and more. The restaurant will also feature a full dining room.

PGA TOUR Grill, with fresh and healthy meal options will feature interactive entertainment including a putting green in the middle of the dining room and a golf simulator for travelers to work on their back swing during layovers. PGA TOUR Grill is also opening in partnership with Arnold Palmer Enterprises, honoring Bay Hill’s own, late great “King” of golf, Arnold Palmer, the emphasis on local Florida pride is in every detail of the design. This full-service restaurant will be located directly above Shake Shack on Level 3.

Orange County Brewers will be a taproom and restaurant supplying the tasty flavors of downtown Orlando’s first craft brewery in the West-Gates area of the new South Terminal. The menu will showcase everything from educational beer flights to pub fare favorites, tailored to offer travelers a unique and quintessentially local food and–perhaps most excitingly–beverage offering.

Foxtail Coffee Co. will give travelers passing through the airport Rental Car Center access to the freshest coffee sourced from around the globe and brewed locally in its Winter Park Café alongside gourmet pastries, snacks and sandwiches for travelers taking to the road. This location will be sublet to, and operated by Foxtail Coffee Co., a local powerhouse brand that is taking over Orlando’s coffeehouse scene.

Two new Starbucks® stores will debut in the pre-security area and on Level 2, providing travelers the opportunity to relax and rejuvenate with their favorite coffee, beverages, and snacks.

South Terminal Level 2 will also be baking up happiness with Auntie Anne’s®, the perfect option for travelers in need of a portable and convenient snack like one of the brand’s famous made-from scratch sweet or savory wholesome pretzels, pretzel dogs, lemonade, and more.

HMSHost currently operates the recently opened Bahama Breeze restaurant in B Terminal, as well as Outback Steakhouse, Macaroni Grill, Firehouse Subs, and more. A list of existing HMSHost-operated locations at Orlando International Airport is available on the HMSHost location finder map.
