HMSHost Expands Business Development Organization

Senior industry executive Iris Messina joins HMSHost as Vice President of Business Development

BETHESDA, MD (February 14, 2019) – Global restaurateur HMSHost announced today the appointment of industry executive Iris Messina as Vice President of Business Development. In this role, she will be responsible for supporting the organization’s long-term business development activities with airport clients throughout North America. HMSHost welcomes Iris at a time when the organization continues to build and evolve a world-class, people-forward culture focused on elevating the traveler experience.

In her former role as vice president of leasing for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, Messina was responsible for business development leasing activity for the airport division including master planning, prospecting, negotiations, and relationship management. She was recently appointed to the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) Board of Directors and is a member of other leading industry organizations including Airports Council International – North America and the American Association of Airport Executives. Prior to joining Westfield in 2002, Messina spent 12 years in retail sales and management.
