HMSHost Celebrates Top Industry Awards at 2013 Moodie Food & Beverage Conference

Company’s Denver and Atlanta Programs Recognized for Excellence in Airport Dining

NORTH AMERICA & DUBAI — In a spectacular gala event this evening at Atlantis, The Palm Hotel & Resort in Dubai, global restaurateur HMSHost, a world leader in travel dining, was honored by the 2013 Moodie Food & Beverage (FAB) Awards. HMSHost received awards for Best Airport Wine Bar for Crú at Denver International Airport and Best Airport Food Court for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Concourse F. HMSHost’s parent company, Autogrill Group, was also honored with awards for Best Digital or Social Media Initiative for Vyaggio, Best Railway Station Food & Beverage Offer for Bistro Milano Centrale and Best Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative for A Future. The Moodie FAB Conference and Awards, hosted annually by The Moodie Report and its sister title, The Foodie Report, seeks to promote excellence in the consumer offering.

The Moodie FAB Awards judges included David King, industry veteran and Director of the David King Partnership; Bartlett Mitchell Managing Director Wendy Bartlett; and The Moodie Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie. Winners were selected among 209 entries, spanning airports on every continent, as well as the best in railway station food & beverage.
