HMSHost Celebrates the Opening of Starbucks’ New Concept, Starbucks Evenings, at Washington Dulles International Airport
New Starbucks concept within Starbucks café offers chic European atmosphere and dining options including beer and wine for international travelers
STERLING, VA — Global restaurateur HMSHost celebrated today the grand opening of the very first airport location for Starbucks’ latest concept, Starbucks Evenings, at Washington Dulles International Airport. HMSHost and Starbucks opened the first airport Starbucks over 20 years ago and have worked closely together to introduce Starbucks Evenings. Travelers in Dulles’ international terminal will now be able to unwind in a welcoming and inviting atmosphere while enjoying a glass of hand-selected wine, a bottle of beer, or a cup of premium coffee or tea. The concept features a sophisticated new menu with savory bites, shareable small plates and irresistible desserts.

Starbucks Evenings seeks to create a new occasion in which groups of varying size can relax and connect while engaging in intimate conversations. The experience created by this atmosphere is an ideal way for business travelers, vacationers, and individuals alike to spend time relaxing and dining in the terminal.

Starbucks Evenings’ menu highlights include Rosemary and Brown Sugar Cashews, Crudités and Smoky Chipotle Hummus Dip, Bacon-Wrapped Dates with Balsamic Glaze, Truffle Mac and Cheese, Artichoke and Goat Cheese Flatbread, and Chocolate Fondue. The Evenings menu is available daily beginning at noon.
The international terminal at Dulles experiences 5.8 million enplanements yearly. HMSHost employs 304 associates in 14 restaurants at Washington Dulles International Airport.
