In 2023 and 2024, HMSHost celebrated Chicago’s rich culinary scene as O’Hare International Airport (ORD) prepared to welcome hundreds to the city for the James Beard Foundation's prestigious James Beard Awards — often called the "Oscars of the food industry."

Throughout the month, global restaurateur HMSHost gave those traveling to or through the airport the chance to meet talented, James Beard Award-winning chefs, bakers, and restaurateurs, and taste some of their delicious culinary creations offered at the airport.

In September 2023, The Moodie Davitt Report named HMSHost's JBF@ORD Chef Series the "Airport Customer/Hospitality Initiative of the Year" at the annual FAB + Hospitality Awards held in Bangkok, Thailand.
